All I see on the screen is as per the screenshot – surely I should be seeing a reply button or a way to manage the topic?
This is a literal ‘out of the box’ vanilla installation
Set it up – added first topic – no ability to reply

Same issue here, have you a solution? I can see the topics but there is no facility to reply. I have purchased the pro version. This should work out of the box!
Hi Peter - this tends to be a theme issue. Have you tried switching to a default theme, like Twenty Seventeen, and checking if you still see the same?

I have exactly the same issue, and followed your suggestion (switching to Twenty Nineteen). I normally run Divi, but it kills off the Reply option. Any suggestions on how/why the theme does this, and how to correct it?

My post triggered my own thinking, and I very quickly found the topic by typing into Google:
"divi not showing reply for comments".
Short answer is:
Dashboard/Divi Theme Options / Layout / Show comments on posts

We've built a custom website and have installed the plugin but it's not allowing us to post replieseven though we are logged in. We're able to add new topics though.
We have comments enabled (another team member reached out previously about this and that was one of the things you pointed out might be the issue).
Do you have any other suggestions?

Have you tested with a default theme, like Twenty Nineteen? Sometimes theme templates only include comments for posts, not other post types.
