  Thanks for reaching out to our forums!

  Could you please confirm if you have set Permitted Poster Roles for the users experiencing the "You’re not currently permitted to view this content" message?

  You can check this by navigating to Discussion Boards >> Settings >> Users. Make sure the appropriate roles are added under Permitted Poster Roles to allow them to create new topics.

• Hi Alfred, Thank you for reaching out to us. Regrettably, Discussion Boards only allow users to edit and modify their topics through the backend or within the Discussion Boards dashboard. To help prevent typos, we recommend disabling the Publish new topic without moderation feature under Discussion Boards >> Settings >> General. All settings are initially set to defaults and aren’t automatically created when the plugin is installed except the 3 pages (Topic with subpages New Topic and Login Page) This allows users to customize the settings according to their preferences.
