Disable original topic post when pagination is used?

Hi Gareth, I think this might be a long-shot, but I thought I’d ask anyway:

I’m using pagination on my topic pages, and when a visitor navigates to a topic’s second page, third page, etc., the original topic post remains at the top of the list of replies / comments. Is there any way to disable this so that only replies / comments appear…more like a traditional forum would behave?
