1.6.0 of Discussion Board Pro is released today. It introduces two new features: statuses and breadcrumbs.
Statuses allows you to assign possible statuses to Topics, e.g. ‘Open’, ‘Closed’, ‘Fixed’. You or your users can update the status of the topic as necessary. Statuses are ideal for helpdesks and other support forums but can be useful for many other applications as well. You can define what statuses you wish to use and can have a different set of statuses for different boards if you like. You can see an example on the Support Board on this site.
Breadcrumbs is a commonly requested feature and allows you to add a breadcrumb navigation to Boards and Topics. You can see how they work at the top of this page, above the title.
