Where can I control the types of media attachments these users can upload? I cant find a way to allow them to upload .doc and .xls to the discussion forum.

I have the pro version and I have “allow media button” set in the discussion board settings but it will not allow the discussion board user to upload all media types. This would be separate from the upload featured image option. But does the system as a whole block all media attachments except PNG and JPG files?
Hi - there's an update due which will fix this issue. It should be released on Monday.
