This should be an upload function from desktop otr whatever instead.

I think you may be asking the same thing as me... is it possible to upload images in forum messages? Let's see.
You can upload an image when you create a new topic but not in the replies.

I'm after the same thing. By clicking 'Add Media', I don't want all the logged in users for the discussion board having access to what is already in the media library of the website.
Is there another way around this?
Okay, this is possible using a snippet. I've just enabled it on this site - you can check by adding a new topic. You shouldn't see any other images in the Media Library.
