Is there a way to arrange the topic replies so the the first reply (Comment) is the first in the page? And the comments just get posted in order that they are left? I don’t want the newest one at the top, I want the first response at the top.

You could use a separate plugin for this: you just need to find one that allows you to choose the order of comments in posts.
