Can’t choose ‘which board on new topics page’ + the page ‘new topics’

Hi.
I have made a fine forum page with multiply users with disc. boards, but I still seams to have 2 problems:

1) On the page “New topics” I can’t choose any boards? The only receiving message when trying to do so, is ‘select boards’ ?

2) My topics page does not look fine and I like to make it look alike else pages within forum.
– What I would like to ask: is there any methods to change layout of “url/discussion-topics/” ? in discussions boards settings on wp-dashboard or alike?

Further speaking on this topic:
I see on those pages underneath, that you can add “filter hooks”, but because I have no experience in coding and alike, therefore I won’t like to interfere with that.

    To add a board, please navigate to your website's backend > Discussion Board > Boards.

    • Oh, I thought you meant register elsewhere – my misunderstanding.

      Because I have already done that – See picture. But if we consider that not being the problem, what else can then be the problem?

    I am reaching out to you via email. Have you seen my email? The Board selection feature is working properly on our dummy website. I will need to check it directly from your website for me to troubleshoot and suggest fixes as needed.

  • I know this is 5 months old but I have the same exact problem. I enabled Boards and created two boards. They look great, I've created separate pages to display them, etc. but when I try to use the New Topic form it will not let me select a board. It does not display the two different boards when you click on the drop down link. I feel like this is a simple fix I'm missing somehow.

  • Hi Todd, Can you please confirm if the subscriber & admin roles were permitted to post new topic on both boards?
