Registration – not receiving activation email

Hi,
I am using the free version and have tried registering as a new user and never received the activation email. I tried with 2 different email addresses, checked the spam folder etc. Please let me know what the problem could be.

  • Hi Jenn,

    Most of the time, this case is related to the general WP settings or email settings is not properly set on your DNS. Do you have na active SMTP on your website? I would suggest troubleshooting the issue by deactivating the plugin. Then try to manually register a user (navigate to users >> add new and make sure to check "Send User Notification"). If you haven't receive the notification, I would suggest reviewing your website settings and DNS.

  • Please disregard the above! I am running site locally for dev purposes and did not receive a notification so maybe that's the issue? But now I have another question, which is how does one delete a comment! Thanks so much.
