I’ll be using the Wishlist plugin to create a member site, and would like to use DBPro to run the forums for the paying members within the site. Can the DBPro members be automatically assigned as the users register for the site using standard WordPress accounts? So they won’t have to register twice?

DB Pro doesn't automatically assign user roles. If you need using to pay to register, you could follow this method: https://pluginrepublic.com/update-user-roles-after-purchase/

Is there any new info on this sort of feature? I am looking for native integrations with Tiers or membership levels used with any sort of membership management system such as Wishlist member, or a LMS that offers access levels to different courses or packages.

Thank you for reaching out to us, Right now we don't have a deep integration with Learndash, but many users use our forum with LMS plugins like LearnDash, using member roles as discussed above.
