I am having a hard time getting everything set up on my site www.westmidtownbiz.com.
I thought I had it but then no one was receiving registration emails.
I would like to set up a password protected discussion board where the admin either has to create usernames and passwords for specific people or has to approve the people that are trying to register. Then, all users can create discussion and participate.
Could you please help me set this up.

If no one is receiving email, I suggest installing a plugin like Postman SMTP which is a much more reliable way of ensuring emails get sent from your server.
If you'd like users to be created by the admin, then disable registration. The admin can then create the accounts manually.
