- Hi Gareth - I was running the version before the current one because wordpress died when I tried to do the update. I finally tracked that down to the server having a really old version of PHP. Fixed that, updated your software and the problem went away. I think wordpress could be improved if plugins could specify oldest acceptable PHP version and a check made at installation time. Anyway - sorry to have troubled you and thanks for your helpful response. Peter
