Hello WP Discussion Board community!
My name is Matt and I’m excited to announce that I am the new maintainer of WP Discussion Board (previously DiscussionBoard.pro).
To give you some background on myself, I’ve been in the WordPress community since 2005 (the very early days of WordPress). I’ve run a WordPress development agency, spoken at a number of WordCamps including WordCamp Europe and done WordPress development work for some of the biggest tech and media companies in the world. I have a number of different plugins that I maintain and am so excited to be able to have the opportunity to work on WP Discussion Board too.
Gareth has done a superb job of building and growing WP Discussion Board in to a plugin that many people have come to know and love. I sincerely thank him for that effort.
It’s time though to take WP Discussion Board to the next level and I’m excited to have the opportunity to do that. Over the coming months, I’m going to be adding new and exciting features to the plugin and improving on existing functionality. I’ll also be handling all the support queries both here on the forum and via email. If you have any questions, please do reach out!
Lastly, as I’m going to be adding a lot of new features and functionality to the plugin, I’d love to hear from you as to what you would love to see added to the plugin. Send me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
