DB doesn't do this but I'm sure there are other plugins out there that extend the user profile.

Yeh I have been looking around for about 2 hours and can't find anything.
I have the function in my functions.php file to extend the registration fields so this information must be stored in the database so I should be able to access that in the template.
Is there a standard procedure to overwrite the template files (much like in the use of WooCommerce)?
There's documentation here on the DB template files - https://discussionboard.pro/documentation/extending-discussion-board/ - but I'm not sure that's what you need?
